SALEM SOUND COASTWATCH
Two up-coming events are being offered by Salem Sound Coast Watch - an open water swim this weekend, on August 28th, and a 5K run on September 12th.
The swim, known as the Swim & Fin Race for Salem Sound features 3 races - 500 meters, 1500 meters (1.5K) and 5K. It wil be held at Forest River Park; races start at 1:00 pm; chowder and fruit for swimmers is being provided by Finz.
The Coastal 5K Run for the Beach is being held at Lynch Park in Beverly. It is a "fun run" with fabulous ocean views. The run starts at 10:00am.
